Dean’s Message;

The college of Business and Economics have young and energetic lecturers who are well
equipped and experienced in teaching, research and community services in different business
and economic aspects since the beginning of Debark University. As a college, we have
different cross cutting issues like project planning and management, business formation,
entrepreneurship and enterprise development, finance and auditing issues in business, tourism
infrastructure management and development, tourism marketing, and tourism resource
conservation in demanding a collaboration effort among different stakeholders. As a result,
we kindly invited those individuals and institutions that would love to investing, conducting a
researches, preparing workshops and seminaries, providing consultancy service with the area
of business, entrepreneurship, economic development, tourism development, natural
resources and heritage management. Therefore, the College of Business and Economics is
able to work with partners of the university and assisting the community with all the above
listed issues.
